Converter Kings humble beginnings started roughly 30 years ago in the scrap metal recycling industry. Buying and selling of automotive cores lead to the discovery of a robust revenue stream in the precious metals market. Converter Kings founders learnt the business from the ground up to the bullish catalytic market of today.

 

Our Pledge:

Converter King has built up a network of clients and vendors across Alberta who are accustomed to being treated honestly and fairly for their catalytic converters. Our goal is to educate our clients in order to retain them for long term business relationships.

We do this by :

  • Showing proof of catalytic converter values
  • Spending the time to grade cats by serial numbers and fair photo grading.
  • Explain daily PGM values and market fluctuations.
  • Open book policy with catalytic converter catalog.
  • Consistent pricing based on percentage and volumes.

What are Catalytic Converters?

Selling Rules :

  • Alberta law requires seller to be 18 years of age or older
  • Seller MUST also have valid government issued ID
  • You are responsible for checking the current prices prior to unloading
  • Our staff will assist in the unloading of your truck but it is expected that the customers help as well
  • We reserve the right to refuse all or part of any load
  • We reserve the right to decide whether material will be weighed or counted
